Today, Imperial Logistics is the third largest of the Imperial Group’s seven divisions in terms of revenue and involved in supply chain management activities in almost every industry in Sub-Saharan Africa.

- Employs in excess of 13 000 people
- Operates approximately 5 200 vehicles and has relationships with many sub-contractors
- Has 420 000 m² of ambient warehouse space across 42 DCs and 152 000 m² of cold storage space across 16 DCs in South Africa
- Implemented cross-docking and transshipment successfully in many parts of South Africa
- Provides a sales & merchandising service to blue-chip companies
- Has operations in nine countries in Southern Africa

The Cold Chain provides a full perishable and chilled logistics service to major FMCG customers, which includes:

Fast ‘n Fresh supplies an extensive and professional line-haul service. This includes:
– Refrigerated transport (line haul and local distribution) and controlled multi-principled temperatures
– Provision of chilled primary distribution solutions

Liebentrans provides local and primary distribution solutions in a chilled and perishable environment
